TYPICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF A WELLNESS CENTER EMPLOYEEWe recognize that every staff member has unique personal attributes that they bring
with them to the workplace. Because we work in a small setting it is important that there
be a mutual "fit" and open and honest communication amongst all staff.
We look for candidates that are confident, have a passion about working in a non-profit setting and want to help empower people to make positive choices in their lives. While every person has the right to believe what they want---we look for staff who are comfortable supporting our mission. While we do not provide abortion services---it is important that staff working directly
with patients can be comfortable supporting choices that our patients make.
Lastly an unwavering commitment to absolute confidentiality is critical.
The availability of benefits depends on the designated hours/position and can include vacation, holiday and sick time, opportunities for professional development and participation in a health savings account. Schedule excludes weekends, most holidays.
If we have a job opening posted at the top of this page and you possess the characteristics we look for in an employee and making a difference is important to you, we invite you to submit a cover letter and resume to:
Kim Denil
Office Manager,
Wellness Center of Door County, Inc.
PO Box 85,
Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235
As openings develop this listing will be updated.
Since opening in 2003, the Wellness Center vision has always been to expand from providing dedicated family planning services to a full range of health services as an independent nurse managed community based non-profit clinic. That vision is continuing to evolve as we expand the breadth of services and our ability to meet the needs of our clients and community.
The Wellness Center is looking for a variety of practitioners to provide services to Wellness Center clients and community members who are in need of achieving greater balance and peace. If you are a certified massage therapist, acupuncturist, or reiki practitioner and looking for a unique setting in which to practice, please send us a letter of query. We'd love to begin a dialogue about your making a difference!
We're hoping to enhance mental health services that are available to residents of Door & Kewaunee County by recruiting a Behavioral/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with expertise in the area of therapy and medication management. There is potential for this provider to join our staff or establish their own practice and lease space with the option for billing services and clerical support. The practitioner could choose to relocate or commute to Door County depending upon what would best fit their lifestyle and practice. Hours are flexible and could be once/month or more as the provider desires. National APN certification & WI APNP credentials are required.
